The Date 'm Labeling System Kit comes in a choice of attractive 4 x 6 cases. Each case may be easily kept in a kitchen drawer or on a counter for easy access.
1. Inside each kit is the unique "Date'm Freshness Guide" which fits inside your case so it is always accessible.
2. A complete set of color-coded Date 'm Food Labels is included in each kit. The eight distinctive colors make it easy to match to the Date’m coordinating Freshness Guide.
3. Date 'm Labels can easily be ordered separately as refills in our "Shop Now" section.
How to use the Date’m Labels - IT’S SIMPLE !
1. First, match your food product and category (raw, cooked, packaged, opened) to the correct box on the Freshness Guide.
2. On the corresponding Date 'm Label, enter as much information as you need to serve as a “freshness alert”, “use-by alert”, “allergen alert”, or any other information helpful to you and your family. A Date’m marker is included in each kit for your convenience.
3. Once food is opened you can easily update your label with a new "Use by" date.
Great for Leftovers!

4. Date 'm Labels are easily removable making food storage container clean-up a breeze.
Take advantage of the Date’m "USE FIRST" Labels – IT’S FIFO!

So helpful when more than one package of the same product is opened.
The "USE FIRST" labels are also great for properly rotating stored foods by using the FIFO (first in, first out) principle.
- Lets you know when to restock those nearly finished pantry foods. ALERGY ALERT LABELS HELP KEEP FOOD ALERGY's IDENTIFIED!

Using the Freshness Guide – It’s a match !
The Freshness Guide is a unique Date'm feature. This Guide is a great reference tool for quickly finding the recommended Freshness dates recommended by food experts, manufacturers, and the USDA for dozens of food items.
Simply match the color-coded Date’m label with the coordinating column on the Freshness Guide. That’s it !
Note: The Freshness Guide assumes food is being properly stored in refrigerator, freezer, or pantry and at proper temperatures.
